Do you see what I mean. As a mother I try to not allow my children to be "needy"-always needing held, etc... it pays off-both of my children are very content and happy. Here she is just having some wake time.
This is my darling stylish mother! Check out those boots-SERIOUSLY! I don't know anyone with a mother who has her stuff together like my mom. She is so fun, and as darling and as thoughtful as can be.
I took my mom out to lunch today, and to the grocery store. Mom and I use to go out for lunch at least once a month-however in the last year many things have changed, and we have not been able to go by ourselves-very often. Today I made it a point to have some great date time together-and I am so glad-I am not waiting til' later or tomorrow....I am doing it now! I have to say I was sharing with one of my classes at the gym about what we were all doing for valentine's day. When it comes down to it-you don't need to have a husband, or boyfriend, etc.... everyone has someone they love, admire, respect, and are better because of that individual. Valentine's is about that...thanking them for making a print on a page of your life. We REALLY don't know what tomorrow brings-my mother's current condition reminds me of that. I am so thankful for the love of so many. I am thankful you do not have to earn or deserve love....you are loved simply because you are you! I so appreciate the people in my life that I love, admire and am strengthened by. Thank you for your much love and kindness, and miracle you are in my life---HAPPY DAY OF LOVE!

M. Thanks for this great post! You are right....we don't need a sweetheart in our lives to have immense love.....but you are so blessed to have so many people who love you and that you love.
Happy Valentines!
