Things that happen when Byron's gone.....

Well Byron has been working out of town sometimes, and he is gone for 3-5 days at a time. So we have been getting a little mischeivious around the Lott home....
Spending more time at Grandma's---Bentley wanted to pick a flower to take home with us! I came outside and saw him pull this whole flower out of the ground-root and all-it was a stubborn flower.

Well, I cut MY HAIR! OVER 5 INCHES! Wahoo! It is a little shorter than I had in mind-but It is pretty cute.

Bentley helping with dishes-in the afternoon-and yes, I am in my lounge around the house clothes! I love these all-comfy clothes-and I would not wear them all day if I knew Byron was coming home!

The hair cut-and highlights! Wahoo---and for lunch Bentley and I ate half a watermelon-our summer staple food! We are excited to show Dad all of our fun!!!!

Happy mother's day!

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! We spent the day with my family. The guys made Mexican food-and we ATE IT! My brother Colton also called from his mission in Guatemala! It was soooo great to talk to him! He is doing very well. He is the most optomistic and happy guy I have ever known! He is a huge blessing-and we loved laughing and visiting with him!

THE MOTHERS.....

Me and Kennedy's 1st Mother's day! She is sooo happy!

The guys slaving away...it is good for them....

Phone call with Elder White......
Hope you all had a wonderful day-and celebrated the women in your lives that make you who you are! Love you all!

Bentley is 3!

Well, this is very late, but On March 24th Bentley James turned 3! He is so fun and sweet! I adore him-like I never thought boys could be adored!

THINGS We LOVE about BENTLEY:

-He is the sweetest brother and boy I have ever known.

-He loves to cuddle and hug and kiss-AND he's not a SISSY-LALA

-He loves to work-he did almost ALL of our snow shoveling this last winter-HAPPILY!
-He is so happy and laughs constantly!

-He helps do any and everything-he makes dinner with me, and does chores in the morning.

*We love most of all that he is ours FOREVER! Hap Hap Happy Birthday (voice of GUS- cinderella)!

The night before Bentley's birthday Byron and I decorated the house with streamers and balloons! So when Bentley woke up in the morning and walked out of his room-he was so excited and bashful that he was the center of attention! He loved it! He said, "Mom! I love balloons!"

Well, we are not extreme with presents. We got him a couple of things he needed and a 3-wheel scooter at target that is TOY STORY! He loved it. It was so fun! We went outside with him-and Byron was demoted to the tri-cycle!
We love being a family!

My two darling boys!

GREAT NEWS! Yesterday my mom & dad went to Seattle to meet with her Doctor---which always makes for a worried week....she got another brain scan-and her results were that all of the tumors are STILL SHRINKING! We are very thankful for these fabulous results. We are seeing blessings and miracles in our lives daily and we know it is from the Lord!
I just wanted to add some fun pictures. Bentley's new favorite thing is bath-time with Kennedy. Bentley has been in a rut of not wanting to take a bath daily-however, when I say kennedy is getting in the tub I hear, "Oh mom can I get in with MY SWEETS Please!" I love my children!
Kennedy is ready for church and waiting for the rest of us. She is so much fun. I have read that children often take after the way their mother's carry them. For example, a woman who enjoys pregnancy-and is pretty easy going, and happy will have easier going-and pleasant babies-and those who are a little less tolerable will have such babies. This has been true for me---I just decide to enjoy pregnancy and the beautiful stage it is-to be in, and both of my children were/are delightful babies! Plus me being pleasant resulted in my husband thinking we should have 8 children-gotta love him!

"Marriage is what brings us together today!"

Introducing: Mr. & Mrs. Jared White
These two are sooooo great together! I am more than happy for both of them! It is wonderful to see the Lord's hand in all things. There were so many talks with Jared, and meeting his dates while at college with him, and knowing that it will all work out. AND IT DOES! We cannot see the whole picture ahead of us, we just plant our feet where they are suppose to be, and hopefully they will lead us to that picture. That is the case for these two! Hannah joined the church 1 year ago, and today she married Jared in the temple for time and all eternity! What a blessing for her, Jared and all of their family! We are so thankful for the Lord's hand on this fabulous day!
This is Hannah's fabulous family! We all just love them! So fun, friendly and supportive-flying all the way from Pennsylvania! What a great blessing! We so enjoyed our time with them! I really loved getting to know them the past few days-it helped me get to know hannah better-we have not had tons of time with Hannah just because they are in Florida-so I was thankful to become better acquainted with her family and background....I couldn't love them more!
Bridesmaids and groomsmen....enough said!
Hannah & Jared really wanted a Limo leaving the temple...it was a great surprise from our good friend Alicia! What a wonderful day full of love, blessings, and happiness......and now their journey begins.....!

lots of love

"The Happiest moments of my life have been the few I have passed at home in the bosom of my Family!" -this is officially my favorite quote-by Thomas Jefferson

You know children are more work than I thought, but bring more happiness and love than I thought. Kennedy is more fun everyday...she is now 7 months old and finally getting a bit more chunky!
Officially for two weeks now....we have all been very sick. Bentley started with a pink eye, sinus, head and throat cold.....we all got the 2 week long intense cough, then Byron finally got the cold a few days ago, as we start getting over it, Kennedy decided to finish us off with pink eye! Seriously...it has been crazy---so we have had a lot of home time-and down time-Kennedy wanted some lovin' as I was cleaning up and making dinner so i put her in my sling-----so fun!
the two of us after both of our bath time!
Bentley was the first to greet Kennedy this morning when she woke up, he climbed in her bed, and strokes her head, "good morning sweets." How's my sweetie? Moma's comin hold on...." he is so sweet to her I just love their GUTS!

Bentley and Byron went to run errands, Bentley jumped out of the truck and said, "hapy valtine day mom! I love you!" So sweet---the flowers are from Bentley...Byron got me a darling outfit...even the right sizes---he is so great! Hope you all had a fabulous valentines-and are still doing great!

Today....

This is our darling Kennedy Paige-she is 6 1/2 months old! I cannot believe it---she is so happy and as sweet as can be.
Do you see what I mean. As a mother I try to not allow my children to be "needy"-always needing held, etc... it pays off-both of my children are very content and happy. Here she is just having some wake time.

This is my darling stylish mother! Check out those boots-SERIOUSLY! I don't know anyone with a mother who has her stuff together like my mom. She is so fun, and as darling and as thoughtful as can be.
I took my mom out to lunch today, and to the grocery store. Mom and I use to go out for lunch at least once a month-however in the last year many things have changed, and we have not been able to go by ourselves-very often. Today I made it a point to have some great date time together-and I am so glad-I am not waiting til' later or tomorrow....I am doing it now! I have to say I was sharing with one of my classes at the gym about what we were all doing for valentine's day. When it comes down to it-you don't need to have a husband, or boyfriend, etc.... everyone has someone they love, admire, respect, and are better because of that individual. Valentine's is about that...thanking them for making a print on a page of your life. We REALLY don't know what tomorrow brings-my mother's current condition reminds me of that. I am so thankful for the love of so many. I am thankful you do not have to earn or deserve love....you are loved simply because you are you! I so appreciate the people in my life that I love, admire and am strengthened by. Thank you for your much love and kindness, and miracle you are in my life---HAPPY DAY OF LOVE!

AN UPDATE

Well yesterday My aunt Janet, Shauna and Cheri, as well as my aunt Debbie, Cheryl, and a family friend Cindy all came to my mom's house with me and we took down and put away ALL OF HER CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS! Many of you do not understand the feat this is! It took all 7 of us women ALL DAY! My parents went to Seattle so my mom could get another MRI scan of her Brain (News in just 1 minute!) So we worked tirelessly to surprise them when they got home! We packed and stored approximately 20 boxes of decorations. Took apart and packed 2 16 foot christmas trees with hundreds of ornaments and 50 yards of ribbon!--Seriously that was just the beginning! When they got home---it was all cleaned vaccumed and put away. I love giving good surprises. Surprises that really mean a lot and make a difference! The NEWS ABOUT MY MOM CAME BACK GREAT! My mother's brain tumors-which are cancerous, have decreased by MORE THAN HALF-in all of the tumors! Wahoo! This is great! We are very thankful to all of you for your prayers-and help in so many different ways. We are also most thankful to our Heavenly Father for the medicine and technology available to us, as well as his will being that she is able to spend more time with us on this earth. AMEN!

Happy 2010! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Here are a few of our Highlights:

My Darling mother and sweet little Kennedy! I don't have many pictures of my mom with my little girl yet-so I especially liked this of them in their jammies.

Byron is a champ-Santa brought Bentley a train with a track-wahoo!

We love the excuse for Christmas-to all get new matching pj's-so fun-and warm-thanks Bergs!

THE FEAST! Christmas Eve we have a feast of all of our favorite foods! It is wonderful to all pitch in during the day to make it all-then we snack on it for the rest of the week.
